Kitamidori is has high humulene content with outstanding aroma potential. It was developed by Kirin Brewery Co., Ltd. In Tokyo, Japan, but is not grown commercially there or anywhere else. Any information derived is from a very small selection, possibly a single hill. It showed a variable yield, but very good storage stability (75% AA after 6 months).
